Volker was born 1963 in Düsseldorf - Germany.
He has played in Robert Mitchell`s Panacea, Eric Appapoulay`s Premonition, Louise Mills Under Whole Egusi, Jade Fox, Bembe Segue, New Sector Movements, Kaidi Tatham, Eska Mtungwasi and Shorter Stories.
Volker hs also worked with Norma Winstone, Michael Mondesir, Omar Puente, I.G.Culture, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Marcina Arnold, Julian Siegel, Ben Davis, John Serry, Areef Durvesh, Byron Wallen, Vaughn Hawthorne, Stuart Blagden.

As well as playing percussion, Volker has also worked as an Illustrator and Photographer for the last 18 years.
