A graduate of Leeds College of Music, Pete continued
to do post graduate studies at the Guildhall. Played tenor and baritone
in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (1997-99). Has run his own
bands, & played New York's Blue Note Club & Ronnie Scott's
in 1998 and in 2004 supporting Roy Ayres.
His band Acoustic Ladyland were originally intended as the name
suggests to be an acoustic improv band reinterpreting Hendrix material
but have since become a distinctive, improv group with a contemporary
rock n roll attitude.
