Studied at Guildhall (London) and later at the Banff Conservatoire (Canada). He has played and toured with Julian Joseph, Mike Westbrook and Django Bates. Recorded with Claire Martin, Huw Warren, Christine Tobin, Jamiroquai, D-Influence. Has led his own quartet featuring Chris Biscoe and toured with the French super-star, Patricia Chass. Ben Davies teaches jazz cello in the Trinity College of Music Jazz Studies.
