Silvestre techinque
Silvestre technique is a contemporary dance technique based on Afro-Brazilian
cultural symbols. The dance technique was developed by the dancer and
choreographer Rosângela Silvestre, who with her base in the US and
Brazil, still is active and continuously develops the technique and it's
pedagogy. She has been researching Brazilian dance and Capoeira and analyzed
their movements and gestures regarding its technical functions from a
dance point of view from which she has developed this Brazilian dance
technique, which is an excellent technique for training the dancer's strength,
speed and balance. For further information see: www.silvestrelink.com
